Serious Crash Snarls Traffic, Closes I-95 Ramp In Baltimore (Developing)

A serious crash caused a traffic jam and shut down an exit ramp on I-95 in Baltimore during rush hour on Thursday, April 4, developing reports say.

The collision occurred on the southbound side at exit 52 around 3:40 p.m., according to the MDTA:

The ramp from I-95 southbound to MD 295 exit 52 was expected to be closed for an extended period of time as crews responded:

MDSHA warned drivers leaving Baltimore south on Russell Street using MD 295 to take alternate routes as well:
